BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
The proposed programme, Bachelor of Computer Applications, is conceived to be one of duly approved by the competent academic bodies of the university.The students are expected to enjoy the flexibility of choice from an impressive basket of electives. The choice-based credit system deployed in the delivery of the programmes ensures the relevance of the pedagogy with the practices across the country. The programme is organised on a semester basis and the programme has 6 semesters spread over 3 years.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (DATA SCIENCE AND ANALYTICS)
The Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the essential skills to manage, analyze, and interpret complex data. Through a blend of theory and practical applications, students gain foundational knowledge in statistics, machine learning, data visualization, database management and programming languages like Python. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience with real-world datasets, preparing graduates for a variety of roles in data analysis, business intelligence, and predictive modeling. This program aims to cultivate critical thinkers and proficient data professionals ready to make data-driven decisions and contribute to advancements in sectors such as finance, healthcare, technology, and government.
MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a postgraduate programme focused on developing advanced competencies in computer science and software development. It provides a strong foundation in core areas such as programming, data structures, databases, operating systems, and computer networks, along with exposure to emerging technologies like machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, blockchain technologies, and AI for cybersecurity. The programme emphasizes practical learning and industry relevance, preparing graduates for careers in software development, IT services, and technology management. The program is organised on a semester basis and has 4 semesters spread over 2 years and they need to complete all the required courses for the total of 80 credits.
