Regional Centre, Thalassery, Kannur of Sreenarayanaguru Open University was established as per G.O No.353/2021/H.Edn dated 26/08/2021 of Higher Education Department. The Centre is housed in the premises of the Govt. Brennen College is situated on the outskirts of the Dharmadam Panchayat. It caters to the needs of the potential learners from Kasargod, Kannur and Wayanad districts and is responsible for the supervision of the Students Learning Support Centres also. The Centre is headed by a designated Director and has the required administrative staff. The Centre represents the University in all matters other than the financial and legal in the regions under the reference. The centre is located 4.4 km away from Thalassery railway station and 5.2 km away from Thalassery bus stand.
